SPCA Montreal
The Montreal SPCA is a non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of its wonderful community to pursue its life-saving work. At the service of animals for over 150 years, the Montreal SPCA was the first animal-welfare organization in Canada. Today, the shelter is the largest animal protection organization in Quebec, speaking on behalf of animals wherever there is ignorance, cruelty, exploitation, or neglect.

Mission 1000 Tonnes
Mission 1000 Tonnes is a Quebec organization that aims at removing 1000 tonnes of waste from the waterbodies of Quebec and the planet in order to improve their health. The cause also wishes to raise awareness among citizens and businesses about the protections and conservation of lakes, rivers and oceans.

Support The Cause

The Alzheimer Society’s mission is to support and inform people living with Alzheimer’s disease. Each race, we try to donate part of our profits to this organization ($187,000 since 2013). Thanks to each of you, we could raise a lot more!

Our Goals

As you know, the Desjardins Pointe-Claire Half Marathon has been associated with the Alzheimer Society for 4 years now.
To encourage you to participate in the fundraiser, we will reimburse you 100% of your registration amount if you raise at least $500/runner.
It may seem like a lot, but by using the fundraising platform’s Facebook sharing tool, your friends and colleagues will help you reach your goal quickly!
For teams: If you wish to form a team, it is also possible to be reimbursed 100% of the registration fees as in the following example:
You are a team of 4 and you have managed to raise a total amount of $2000 ($2000/4 = $500/runner). We will refund all your registration fees.
